AEGIS Board

The Automated Energy Governance & Intelligent Storage (AEGIS) Board sits on top of each segment. The goal of this board is to integrate many parts together onto one board for convenience, to simplify wiring and improve reliability. The benefit of a single board is that it makes installation easy, with minimal wiring, simplifying the process. 

 

The AEGIS is a passive board meaning that it doesn't have any active components and it doesn't do anything processing and it acts as a front end for all the measurements to be made on the segment for the BMS.

 

The AEGIS board handles:

• Cell tap voltage measurements for the BMS
• Fusing of the cell taps
• Temperature sensor aggregation.
